Del 2
English: I’m in Stockholm at a workshop with Jessica Claire and a seminar with Christopher Becker. Two incredible talented wedding photographers from the USA. My second post shows what a mad bunch of photographers there was today at Jessica’s workshop.
We started the day with a 2 hrs seminar, where Jessica had a nice presentation. Then we were mingling a bit before we had some lunch and headed out for a shoot.
A very happy (and very nice) photographer. Canon had shown up with a lot of goodies that we could pick and choose from…. to borrow.
Per Karlsson from Canon was hard to convince that I could keep the 135/2L lens that I did borrow. But he was kind enough to inform me that all these lenses were available to buy. *sigh* I want them all!
Some started shooting before lunch… as the big Idol (see my previous post) Becker had a huge fan base among the photographers. I just admired the shooting style of our most famous wedding photographer in Sweden.
It felt like we were a swarm of photographers walking the streets and alleys of Stockholm’s Old Town (Gamla stan), and it was very crowded to shoot. It required that you had sharp elbows or being very tall (I am neither).
Here’s our teacher for the day, Jessica in action. I admit the second image is not very flattering, but she was surrounded by photographers all the time, so it was hard to get a decent shot of her. I just love the color of her hair!
More photographers in action, and it looks like the majority is still shooting with Canon here in Sweden.
Style study of a photographer in action shooting and directing our models, a photographer who also happen to be our own Brigitte Grenfeldt.
Scandinavian Photo, who arranged this workshop tour in Stockholm and Gothenburg (the latter next week), are represented here by Jenny Blad and John Habgy (who’s going to be my economical ruin… but that’s another story. I love him to bits!!)
My personal donkey Justin Jägare from DanielPhoto helped carrying bags for several of us. He’s a gem! And finally a style study of how you try to get by the crowd — climb on anything!
Thanks Jessica for a wonderful workshop! It was very informative and fun. Your enthusiasm is very catching, and I rather catch that than that odd flu everyone is scared of now.
Thanks also to all my fellow photographers, you guys rock!
